THE FREEMIUS CHECKOUT GOES HERE
You are one of the first
The product is new to the market, but it is not new: it has been running in a real theatre for years. The first 100 customers keep −30% for life. Not for the first year: for good, even when the list price goes up.
Questions about pricing
Can I change plan whenever I want?
Yes, up or down from the panel, and the difference is worked out on the days left.
What happens when the trial ends?
Nothing automatic: no charge goes out, because you never gave a card. The site goes back to the free plan’s features and your data stays where it is.
DO THE MATHS
How much are you paying to sell your own tickets?
Platforms take a percentage plus a flat fee on every ticket. Not once: forever, on every night, ten years from now too.
«But the buyer pays those, not me»
True, that is usually how it works. Your €15 ticket costs the audience member €16.02 — and €17.00 with the priciest rate. It doesn’t come out of your account: it comes out of your audience’s pocket, and it’s money that never reaches your venue. If you decide to absorb it instead, it comes straight out of the takings.
Either way: someone pays it, and it isn’t the platform.
And the tickets stay yours. So do the customers: name, email, history. They are not guests on someone else’s platform.
One subscription instead of five
MyBoxOffice is not a ticketing plugin. It is the system that runs the venue. To do the same things with other tools you would need:
| What you need | Bought separately | With MyBoxOffice |
|---|---|---|
| Ticketing plugin | from $99 to $599 a year | ✔ included |
| Loyalty points plugin | $105 a year | ✔ included |
| Email marketing service | from €384 a year, and it grows with your list | ✔ included |
| Social publishing tool | $120 a year | ✔ included |
| AI posters, video and voice-over | almost nobody does this for events | ✔ included |
| Accounting, artist fees, room hire, staff | doesn’t exist: you do it by hand | ✔ included |
Add up the entry plans of each — the cheapest possible bill — and you are already past the price of MyBoxOffice Premium, which is €589 a year. And the last two rows you cannot buy anywhere.
And more to the point: they talk to each other
The loyalty point comes from the ticket you sold. The email campaign knows who missed the last show. The Facebook post knows how many seats are left. Five separate subscriptions don’t do that, and keeping them in step is your job.
